Activities

The Lake Erie Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America meets monthly, typically on the second Sunday of the month.
Members and guests are welcome and encouraged to participate in these activities.
Details are available through the monthly Sidelight newsletter and this website.

Submitting suggested topics for one of our monthly club events is eagerly encouraged. Please consider filling out what you can on one of the forms linked below. Don’t sweat the details, they will be filled in as planning proceeds. Pass the form along to one of the activities co-chairs, or any Board member. Thanks.

Here is a  12 month rolling listing of past and upcoming Club Activities

October 2025 On Saturday October 18th, George Camann and Jerry Ptak hosted a poker run and short road rally along Tonawanda Creek and the Barge Canal, followed by lunch at Pane’s Restaurant.
November 2025 On Sunday November 9th, Lon Wilson and Barb Noonan hosted a matinee showing of the movie “The Natural” at the Polish Falcons. 
December 2025 Sunday December 7th was the date of our annual Christmas Party hosted by Barb Noonan and Lynelle Schloerb at the Polish Falcons. 
January 2026 On the evening of Saturday January 24th 2026 Sue Yearke and Karen Schwartz hosted our Annual Installation banquet at the Classic V. 
February 2026 George and Ruth Camann again hosted the LER pinewood Derby on Sunday February 15th at the Polish Falcons. Scouting America provided their four lane track with automatic timing, and officiated the event. 
March 2026 On March 8th, Chuck Facklam hosted and presented a history of automobiles produced in western New York.
April 2026 On April 12th, our annual presentation of the Year in Review will again was hosted by Barb Noonan and Lon Wilson at the Polish Falcons. 
May 2026 The Rust Buster, our first road event of the season, wasa hosted by  Chuck Weimer on June 17th at Bill Gacoich’s Specialty Museum in Eden. Afterwards, we had lunch at Danny’s South.
June Our Annual Car Show chaired by Chuck Facklam and Mike Mesi, will be held at Como Park’s Bowen Grove on June 7th.
July Sunday July 12th Summer is the date of our annual picnic hosted by Chuck Weimer and Cliff Schulz. It will be at the Clarence Town Place Park in the Town View Pavilion on Goodrich Road. The meal will be provided by Cozy Catering. There will be an optional driving tour prior to the picnic. Reservations are required by July 2nd. 
August Sunday August 9th – Mike Mesi and Ken Knoll are hosts for a tour of Hull House. Lunch/Dinner will be at Dannys North on Genesse Street. Look for more information in the July Sidelight.
September Saturday, September 19th – Jeff and Karen Schwartz will host a tour and exhibition at Hawk Creek Wildlife Center in West Falls. Breakfast will be held at the The Columns. More information will be available in the August Sidelight.
